About Me
My name is Katie Batson, and this is my fifth year teaching!
My goal is to create a safe place where students can ask their questions with the freedom to know that is OK to make a mistake. Mistakes are how everyone learns and grows! In my classroom everything is individualized to help the students succeed. Everyone learns differently! The important part is knowing what strategy works best for you.
My husband and I have been married for 6 years. We have three wonderful children! Viola is 4, Ronnie 3, and JR 1.
I grew up in Parker with my big wonderful family. I have three sisters and one brother. My favorite thing to do in my spare time is to hang out with family. I have two nephews and six nieces with two niece/nephew on the way. It is always a fun time when the cousins get together and play. One of my favorite times of year is Christmas. That is when all my extended family comes together. There is nothing like fitting 70 plus people into one little farm house. Grandpa Ron has taught all of us that there are two most important things in someones life: their family and education.
